What kind of windshield to buy?
I have ordered a commander 1000XT and I was wondering if anybody else has brought the Can am or aftermarket windshield? I am not sure if I should go with the ½ windshield or the full windshield. I was thinking the full windshield would be nice when it is cooler, but it would be to hot for riding in the summertime. Someone out there must have some windshield installed on their machines and can help guide me in the right direction.

So, since you post this over a year and a half ago, what windshield did you go with. I recently purchased a 2012 Commander XT 1000 and decided on the 1/2 windshield. Main reason was that I ran across a ranger with a full windshield while it was raining and noticed that he was driving while looking out the side. Mud and rain had made the full windshield impossible to see out of.
The 1/2 windshield directs the majority of the wind, mud and rain up and over my head, works great.
