Default New Can-Am Commander UTV Pricing Released!

We were as giddy as a kid on Christmas last night when we released the official photos and specs of the all new 2011 Can-Am UTV, but there was one thing missing – price!

Sometime during the night BRP updated their website and gave us another gift of joy. Most people were speculating that it would be several thousand dollars more than it’s sporty rival, the Polaris RZR-S, but in fact, it just a mere $700 more for the loaded up performance X package! At an MSRP of $14,699, the Commander 1000 X is sure to be a hit! Consider today the Boxing Day of the UTV world as there will no doubt be some charity going around as many will be trying to dump their older UTV’s for a fraction of the cost.

Visit the following URL all for all the pricing and breakdown:

I've noticed Can-Am isn't promoting suspension travel numbers whereas Rzr it's pretty prominently advertised.

I was in the market for a RZR S and saw it had 12" travel. Whereas the Commander has 10." Maybe that's why BRP isn't making a big deal of it?

In 2007 I paid 14,500 otd for a 660 Rhino. I did purchase the 26 on 14 tire package and extended warranty. The silver model came with KYB racing shocks, and bumber. But, for what the commander brings to the table for 14,700 or less for the XT, is a great deal. I suspect the price if going as high as stated, is probably related to extended warranty cost and accessories, I did think they were alittle high on the cost of their accessories. 800 dollars for a velcro roof and 899 for HID lights are some examples. i

I just bought a complete plug and play Xentec HID kit for my Rhino on Ebay for $39... Paid $135 a year ago for a smokin diamond plate roof...

The X is an excellent value... Figure that the 27" Beadlocks and Bighorns would be about $1,600 alone...
